MySpace is a very bad place for anyone. (PS, I'm not speaking as a parent but us a 16 year old and former MySpacer). MySpace is littered with sex offenders and stalkers, and besides that, it looks like trash, especially when you try to customize it. Facebook isn't much better. I would recommend the up and coming Pownce as a much friendlier place. It's not a very large network, having only just launch a few days ago, but therein lies the advantage.
