yes its a fun way to keep in touch with friends and even family far away ...

and as far as security there is privacy you can always set your page to private and even be so private that for someone to request to be your friend they would have to know your e-mail or last name thats up to you if you really want to be safe...

also its up to you if you want to accept someone as your friend

and even so you can always delete them !!!

but it's not as bad as people make it out to be ....

Yes because it allows you to reconnect with friends and possiably make new ones

No because people take advantage of the site and use it for cheap marketing, or other...gross things!!

Its a bad site. Bad things everywhere. Children should stay off of it, and parents should ban children from having one. Even my dad who says no to nothing wont let my sister and brother who are 13 have one, and my brother has a half nakey lady on his wall... so you know what that says!

yes, because it is fun to connect with other friends... don't really worry about the security issues... MySpace is just the latest thing to be afraid of. As long as you don't put your address or phone number or anything like that, you will be fine and have fun

myspace is great!! (although i was thinking about it and i just realized that i'm becoming more interested in Y! Q%26amp;A, than myspace-lol) you just have to be smart about using it, don't give out your info to a stranger (98% of my friends i know personally) and don't be dumb going off to meet someone without telling anyone about it!!! i met the love of my life through myspace, so i will always be thankful to tom!!!

Myspace is good because way to keep in touch with friends and classmates instead looking for cool people that you don't know them, don't accept and just deny them.
