if you make it one. i think myspace is made out to be a bad site because of the mistakes people make over the internet. yes there are sexual predators on the internet looking for young girls. but as long as you dont talk to anyone you dont know have your profile and photos set so that only people you add can see them youll be fine. so yes myspace is a safe place, only if you make it one.

i think it's something good to do if you are bored or have lots of time on your hands [as it can be very addictive]. i personally like it a lot better than facebook, myyearbook, tagged, etc.

you can make yourself private, or put your profile out for the entire world to see. you privacy and the info you put out is all up to you. if that has anything to do with it.

It's perfectly safe.

The people who get harmed from myspace just don't put their myspace privacy settings on PRIVATE. You can make it so people have to know your last name %26amp; email to get onto your page, and you can just put in a fake location.. like "I wish I lived in, Hawaii" Or something like that. Myspace has a VERY VERY VERY strong firewall that prevents you from going into peoples spaces that are set on private. They are also comming up with new rules such as, "kids under 18 HAVE to put their profile on private." I think that's for the best.

It's not really addictive or fun for that matter. I just go on there to found out what's homework %26amp; what all my friends are up too. Sure, I keep my profile updated, but not every single day like some people.
