MySpace is alright, but you have to be careful. There are all kinds of perverts and weirdos on there. The safest thing to do is to make friends at school and then only talk to people on MySpace that you already know from somewhere else.

You never know who you are talking to.

However, I have found that MySpace has helped me make friends at school. People from my school added me on MySpace, or vise versa, and that gave me the confidence to talk to them at school.

Myspace is a place made to talk online with your friends from school. So in my opinion school is the best place to make friends, because then you can talk to the friends you make at school on myspace. I mean it is a lot safer because online is not the safest place out of anything to meet people. There are way too many sick people out there. There is also the option of making friends from your school on myspace. I have made a few friends myself at my school that I never knew existed, so if I were you I would first make friends at school and then see if anyone on myspace,at your school, has a myspace too.
